He brings over 30 years of progressive experience helping organizations establish and meet growth and profitability targets through data driven analytics, building strong teams and change management.
Richard serves clients in the role of CFO or Controller. He brings data driven approaches to clients seeking seasoned problem solving with cross functional experiences including finance, accounting, operations, product development and risk management.
Prior to joining the Warren Whitney Team, Richard has been providing interim and fractional services in finance, controllership and risk for the past five years. Most recently working with local Italian meat purveyor Fiorucci Foods and the Richmond Start-up Seasonal Roots. Before beginning his consulting journey, Richard had a +25-year career with GE and Genworth (GE Spin-off). In his GE career, Richard had roles in a diverse collection of industries, including Aircraft Engines, Medical Equipment, Computer Rental, Insurance, and Power Generation. Additionally, Richard has opened and operated a successful small business, allowing him an appreciation for the myriad of activities required to build, grow and operate a business.
Richard’s leadership assists clients through a combination of data driven decision support and operational process effectiveness which allows clients to move faster while enhancing business performance. He creates for the client controllership and accounting processes that both support and enhance the business though timely information on their critical business functions.
